How do I setup internet connection with Roger Cable

I allready have my PC to boot both XP and RH 9. However, I cant seem to figure out a way to configure my ethernet so that I can connect to the internet.... can somone help me with this issue, I have been looking everywhere but this search seems to generate very few solution.

So, if you know how to then please by all mean, I really could use some help. Oh, and by the way I am 100% new to RH 9 so if you tell me something like " boot from the kernel" or those kind of advice... I still have no idea how to do

Should be nice and easy

at the command console as root type setup
then use the menu to get to networking
set it to use dhcp and activate at boot
add nameservers etc in then exit the menu

then run service network restart

and all should be up and running
