how do i close a program lol


well i have a game running
- its some weird thing where snow just falls down on your desktop...

but i dont know how to close it ... haha...

help?

alt-tab might bring up your desktop again, or hitting 'q' or escape should get you out of it.

meh no luck ...

hrm... is there a way i can do this in terminal?

try ps -x then kill it with kill or killall

hey thanks man

yeah i played around wiht the ps command and used ps -A

to view all my proccesses

the -x didnt show that one game lol

Ctrl C
or top(will show all running processes in order of cpu use) then you can use the kill command.
