i have acer aspire 3002 laptop with combo drive.
i want to know how can i use its combo drive to write cd's.
do i have to install any software for it as in windows(like nero).
I personally use Gcombust - simple, and gives you access to all the options that commandline cdrecord has. Although you could just use cdrecord from the commandline and achieve the same effect
Either way you'll need o have the cdrtools package installed (it probably is already).
thanks for ur suggestion.
but i would still like to know
1.how to write data to cd from hd.
(i want to make bkup some of the setup stored on my hd)
2.cd to cd copy.
If you are using slack and you want soomething similar to Nero use k3b.
In the menu it should be in with the rest of the audio apps.
Or, goto terminal type k3b.
my .02.
