How can i access Windows machine through my Linux machine?

Hello, I'm the Administrating the computers in my office. I want to monitor the user's activity. How can i remote login without distrubing the user's activity on his computer? Any software need to be installed? (I don't want to use Terminal server client).

Thanks in advance.

RealVNC.

Install on windows. Access from Linux. Choose whether or not to send keyboard/mouse input to the machine you view.

Are you wanting to do this yourself or the IT policies make you do this? If you are trying to this yourself, first make sure your manager knows what you are doing and that he has no issues with it. You are the administrator and not the cop.

Some sort of VNC will do the trick. There should be an install option on the users PC to not show icon in the taskbar, which is recommended because the icon will usually change color when you connect, potentially alerting the user. After that just connect and you should be able to see the users screen.
