hlds on red hat weird

im running redhat and im behind a linksys firewall. i want to play on the internet but when i start up hlds the " server ip address" is blank. i can see the game in my lan and i get a won auth server. please help if you need more info just post .

well i don't quite understand where your getting at with this...i personally would like if you did give more info...cause i am not quite understanding where you say you want to play on the internet, where in turn hlds is a half-life server...i just can't piece what your saying together, so if you can elaborate a little more it would be helpful...
and if your actually just talking about setting up a half-life server on your box, where your connected through a router, then just tell me if thats what you mean?
