Help with resoloution


Hi, i'm new to Linux (not currently on Linux system)

But i'm asking about Xconfigure, where can i find it?

Someone told me it was in: /usr/bin/
But it's not...

Please help

If you mean the X configuration file, xorg.conf, it's in /etc/X11.

But what? You have to edit it as root. What is your resolution problem exactly? You don't have enough choices of resolution or you don't know how to change resolution? Be more specific.

search these forums, i remember a post no more than 3 days ago where it had the exact details for changing the res in Xorg

Yep just edited it since i wasn't logged in as root -.- lol. I ran xorgconf, xorgconfigure, xconfigurator and xorg -configure
in terminal (Shell) but no hope so i edited it manuly
