Unhappy Help Verify Tails

Can someone please help me understand how to verify Tails ISO image. I've read the instructions but find it confusing.

What do you mean by verify? If it isn't working I would just download another one, if it is working simply try burning it to a DVD or put it on a thumb drive to test it out there. Post back any results!

I am not sure what 'Tails' is, but generally most places provide a md5sum which you can check the image against prior to burning.

If this is not what you mean by verify, you may have to explain further?

Tails is sort of like the tor operating system. It boots live, and automatically encrypts and relays through tor all of the outgoing internet traffic. Go to the Tor site and there should be a tails page somewhere that you can look at.
