Help regarding Panels

Hi all,

this may sound dumb but im having problems with panels.

i already have a panel at the bottom of the screen (height: 40px). now i created another panel to have my fav. program links and repositioned it to the top of the screen.

Now my question is how can i adjust the height of this new panel ?? every time i right click on it and go to the panel menu to change the height it changes the height of the panel at the bottom

any help would be highly appreciated !

thanks

Hi there,

found the solution .. looks like its a reported bug in kde 3.5.7.

to solve the problem

Quote:
Restart Kicker (the KDE Panel), by pressing Alt+F2 and typing

dcop kicker kicker restart

That should let you configure any new panel you add. (Repeat everytime you add a new panel).
