So Im new to linux...and I love it, but I still use vista frequently.
Im having a problem though...
When I turn my laptop on there are like 6 different ubuntu buttons/selections...
obviously three of them are ubuntu, and three of them are recovery partitions?
I guess what I am asking is how to remove multiple Ubuntu partitions...I dont need three of four, just one
I am hoping the end result will be a standard DUAL boot pc
The excess ones are probably just older kernels left over after a kernel update. Check your /boot/grub/menu.lst - you can simply delete the entries for the older ones (that is, if you are sure that the most recent one works fine).
