Help....Linux!!


i was just wondering if i could update mandrake and slackware....cuz i noticed that you could update Gentoo...so i was just wondering if i could do the samething thing with mandrake and slackware and if theres a way how can i update it

you can update mandrake by using the update tool in mandrake control center ->software management.

About mandrake, quatsch give's the answer. About slackware, there's no way you could update it as quickly and easy as gentoo. You can use installpkg but everything should be done by hand.
