Unhappy help file creation tool


hi,
could anybody tell me that, any help file creation tool which should work on both window and linux.
ex, i am using Visual CHM tool but the help file which is created using this tool is not working in linux.
so i want the help file to work in both windows and linux.

Perhaps the same xml based source could be used to produce a chm file for windows, and http files or pdf for linux.

Here is an example, complete with scripts. He starts with docbook.
