Wink Hello All Need help with temp file

Still not sure if this is the right place for this. Guess I'll find out.. I am running Absolute Linux 13 . I am using acidrip, and when ripping, it tells me "Not enough space for cache. Uses temp folder for cache. Need to know how to increase the allotted space in temp.. Thanks folks, Garry

1) How large is the partition in which you installed Linux? How much free space do you have? If you don't have enough free space, you can't cache the DVD.

2) What options do you have in Acidrip for setting things like cache size?

3) Acidrip uses MPlayer for encoding. Have you tried setting cache sizes in the MPlayer config file (/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf)?

Thanks for the quick comeback. It is a 375GB HD so should be enough room, nothing else on it.. #2 Don't see any options in Acidrip for cache size setting. #3 will try to find something in mplayer as you said. will get back either way it goes.. Thanks again, Garry
