Grub2 FAT32 No such device

Hi folks,

I'm trying to create a multiboot USB drive as per this ( http://www.pendrivelinux.com/boot-mu...2-using-linux/ )

On booting the drive in QEMU, I get an error that dumps me into a grub rescue prompt. The error is 'error, no such device *an identifier string for something*'

I created the drive via Debian Jessie (8) in Virtualbox with the USB drive attached to the VM. My host OS is Windows 7 x64

Any help would be much appreciated. I can post a screenshot if required.

Mods/admins, this is my first post here, please move this to the relevant place as I'm not sure if this is a newbie question.

After some searching I came across a Grub boot repair ISO. Booting it in Virtualbox has given me an output with the USB drive attached, http://paste.ubuntu.com/12244542/
