There isn't a native linux application but slingplayer appears to work with wine.

Well, that is the issue. . .Slingbox says it doesn't work with Wine! That is a bummer. Sounds like I need to be thinking dual boot or virtual machine? Urrgh,. . .That means I have more learnin' to do. I hate dual boot, but if it would run as a virtual machine. . .maybe I could live with that. . .

Any other ideas?

Sorry no other ideas at the moment. I have a 2nd PC that runs windows so it isn't an issue for me. Post back if you get it working.

If you go over to wineHQ they have a list of what works. It looks like slingplayer 1.5 works fine.
