Google earth..

I have installed Google Earth on my PC - Ubuntu 8.10. When I try to run it from the shortcut in the Internet section, it shows up and disappear immediately. What is wrong?

What about if you try to launch it from the command line? Do you receive some error message?

Known bug... I'm not sure if there's a fix(or if there is, I've not found it yet).
