Gnome keyring from nowhere

I'm a newbie, trying to learn SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10. I recently installed Evolution email. It worked fine the day I installed it, but the next time I logged in, I was asked for a password for the default keyring. I have no password, as I never set up a keyring. How do I reset a nonexistant password, or get around this?

Try your login password or root password. My guess is that you were asked for a password and typed that in without realizing what it is for.

There should be something like a Keyring Manager program in the menus. (Don't remember because I haven't used it for a while.) My recollection is that you can control things from there.

Thank you for your response. I beleive I tried every password I could think of on the chance that I set it up without realizing it as you say. I'll try again. Honestly,I'd be happy to lose the keyring manager altogether.
