Gnome kde


is there any alternitive to GNOME AND KDE ?
im used to windows , and compared to windows , KDE and GNOME is pretty

stupid things like the option to (MOVE , COPY or LINK ) things , even the ability to MOVE files from a cd to desktop , ! and it errors ! , Stupidities like these are all over these systems ,
so i was wondering if there was a Windiws like browsing system for linux

LOL.

KDE does pretty much everything Windows does as well as some things that Windows doesn't do, and there don't seem to be many bugs in it. Gnome is lighter-weight than KDE and since I don't use it I won't comment.

If you are having trouble, the root of it is someplace else. However in order to try to diagnose this, you'll need to provide a LOT more information.

Specifically, we need to know what distro you are using, what kind of hardware you are loading it on, and what kind of problems you are having. Be very specific; the more general you are the less help you'll get.

im currently using "PCLINUXOS" wich i find really ugly soon i might get ubuntu , and hope ist less like what im using now ...
