Gnome


HI
i got centos 5.5 32-bit image for VMware
but it has got no guionly the command line
and it is not installing GNOME so please suggest

if it's not installing it then you must have not told the installer to install it. you can just run "yum groupinstall Desktop" to install it afterwards if need be.

cent5.5 is no longer supported
the current is 5.6

CentOS 6 is now available. But if you must have 5.5 for some reason, you need to tell us what happens if you give the command "startx". It may be that something is preventing the GUI from running.
