GetNet GN621U USB Wireless Adapter - stops working after resuming from suspend to RAM

Apologies if this is not in the correct area of the forum (I am not sure if this is a hardware, software or network issue).

My wireless adapter works perfectly, but for the fact that when I wake my desktop from sleep mode, I have to remove it from the USB port and plug it back in again to get it working again.

Is there anything I might try to prevent this?

I'm not aware of any work-arounds, in fact have previously seen similar behavior with USB devices.

You should advise your fellow members what distribution and version you are running, as well as the system specifications. All people have to go on for now is the manufacturer and model of the wireless adapter. You also should note what driver you are using and what the version of that driver is. If you can obtain the firmware version of the adapter, this may be helpful information also.

Sorry - I am running Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon (64-bit).

Are there any commands I can run to automatically bring up the other information you requested, for posting?
