Get connection closed when using Tightvnc client to connect to a virtual suse linux

Hi all

I have installed remote admin (VNC) on a virtual suse linux machine thats on my windows xp box. My firewall is disabled on the virtual machine.

When I run the tightVNC client on windows xp the gui user password screen is displayed from the Virtual Linux box in the tightVNC client screen, but when I enter the username password I get connection closed popup window.

any ideas?

Check the logs on your Linux vm. Hopefully you'll have a separate
log for vnc. If not, check /var/log/messages or other system log files.
