gentoo yaboot.conf tibook

i'm having a bit of trouble preparing my /etc/yaboot.conf file to work properly for my install of gentoo linux on my g4 tibook. the error that keeps coming up involves the /proc filesystem not being mounted. another is "unable to find OpenFirmware path for boot=/dev/hda2". it says to add ofboot=<path> where <path> is the OpenFirmware path to /dev/hda2 to /etc/yaboot.conf. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

if your /proc file system is hosed so are you...it holds all the virtual devices. IDE, PCI. SCSI and so on...if the system cant find them, the wont mount. check you /etc/fstab file also to see in there listed in there, if not you may have had a corrupted load time to start new
