GCC and linking.


Hallo, i stumbel in to an problem whit GCC and linking.

$ gcc -m32 -nostdlib -nodefaultlibs -lgcc start.o $? -T linker.ld -o myos

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/11/libgcc.a when searching for -lgcc
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find 2: No such file or directory
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

any help is tnx.

A linker links program libraries. The gcc manual helps. You also may want to know how your program uses libraries.
Answering: What programs are you using?
