FTP server for Mandrivia?

Ok, I'm a complete newbie to Linux. I installed Mandrivia last night because I heard it was one of the most user-friendly ones there is. Can someone just point me towards a walkthrough of some sort to install an FTP server so I can access it from my other windows computer (They're on the same network.)

Do you really want an FTP server or do you just want to share files between the two? I ask because there are much better ways of sharing files with a windows box than using FTP (ie: Samba).

Samba would definitley be a better option, but if you need ftp there are a few to choose from. You can install vsftpd, proftpd or wuftpd.
