free disk space?

Hi all,

I would like to how how you go about finding out how much free disk space remains on the linux partition.

Currently, I'm installing programs without even knowing how much free disk space I've got I've tried using nautilus, but didn't get anywhere with it.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Cheers,
alf829
