foresight linux local repo

Hi All,

As we know foresight linux has no support for online update which it has with conary.

however now with our current requirement we have list of packages (kinda repo mirror) stored in other server (locally).

However we are not sure on how to make foresight linux to point to local repo instead of http://foresight.rpath.org/conary/

we are in kinda bottle neck now and have no option to proceed further.

any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Sha.

Welcome to Linux Questions.

You have a problem there. If you are using Foresight Linux, you are using a dead distribution: no updates, no security patches! Are you happy with that?

Conary is, in my limited experience, very mysterious. These sites might be useful starting points to discover how it works
