Unhappy font size settings.

Good Morning

I have a linux machine which is installed with the linux operating system.

username@hostname 11 % uname -a
Linux domain 2.6.18-92.el5 #1 SMP Tue Apr 29 13:16:15 EDT 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

username@hostname 12 % cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.2 (Tikanga)

When i open a terminal or shell and try to set the font size it takes only for the present session and when open a new shell it font size will go back to default.

Can any one please tell me how to set the font size and make it permanent.

Thanks and Regards.

It should be in your system configuraion apps. Are you using KDE or GNOME? Also, you have enterprise software - you should have Red Hat support?

Configure your terminal, then Settings -> Save as default
