font promblem and wild prompt


When I start my red-hat machine I got this boot message
£ºsetting default font failed ,could not find utf8 no such files
and when I use my bash and compile my source code ,always got
wild prompt like :uuuuuuuuuuuuuu or something else
how could I solve this problem?
