I have been compiling instructions for my build so I can re-create it if I need to. So far here is what I have...
Built a basic install of centos 6.5 64 bit. Basic server option.
Edit “/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/” so that on boot = yes
#service network start
#ifconfig -a
if ip address is valid then “#yum update”
#yum install gcc make rpm-build autoconf.noarch zlib-devel pam-devel openssl-devel -y
# wget
http://openvpn.net/release/lzo-1.08-4.rf.src.rpm
# rpmbuild --rebuild lzo-1.08-4.rf.src.rpm
# rpm -Uvh lzo-*.rpm
find out what version of linux and what release (this is running cent 6.5 64bit)
# wget
http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-r....rf.x86_64.rpm
# rpm -Uvh rpmforge-release*
# yum install -y openvpn
I already ran the above command, but I need the easy-rsa. Should I run the command below to get that or because I already have openvpn installed run a different command?
# yum install openvpn easy-rsa
_____________not done yet. config files need to be setup still (also backed up VM)
