ffmpeg audio to video

Hi all,

I wonder if it is possible to hook my laptop microphone to an rtp stream with audio waveform overlay

Code:

ffmpeg -ar 8000 -f alsa -i hw:0 -acodec mp2 -b:a 128k -filter_complex "[0:a]showwaves=s=640x480:mode=line,format=yuv420p[v]" -map "[v]" -map 0:a -c:v libx264 -c:a copy -f rtp rtp://localhost:4444

Does anyone have an idea what's going on wrong? I'd appreciate some help, Ive tried several parameters
