fedora computer & trash desktop icons on ubuntu

i was wondering if it is possible to put fedora core style "computer" and "trash" icons on the desktop in Ubuntu. I thought about making scripts with just the lines "nautilus computer://" and "nautilus trash://", but that wouldnt let me empty the trash by right-clicking and i couldn't drag and drop files into there. any ideas? thanks in advance.

sorry I should have mentioned I wanted them for gnome. and I meant having the functionality of the fedora "computer" and "trash" icons i.e. drag and drop files, and right-click->'empty trash' option for the trash icon.
