Fedora 8 "Could not find kernel image" on install from CD
OK, I downloaded Fedora 8, Fedora-8-Live-KDE-i686.iso, from the Fedora Project site. (Error message says I'm not allowed to say exactly where that is ???)I created a CD. No errors through the whole process. I put the CD in the drive and booted the PC. The first thing on the screen (after BIOS messages) is:
ISOLINUX 3.36 2007-02-10 Copyright.... Could not find kernel image: linux
boot:
I also read somewhere that I could download a "mini image" that will download the rest of the install over the network. I can't tell you how long I have search for this and can find nothing. I can't use DVD images since the system I am trying to use doesn't have a DVD drive.
Before I try to download again I thought someone could help me get this thing off the ground.
Thanks,
Bob
