Unhappy FC6 Monitor out of range!!

I've tried installing FC6 on my new PC but after an apparently successfull install when i remove the installation disc and reboot i get a black screen with the message box "out of range15hz/14khz"
I was pleased with FC5 on my old pc (now deceased) and would like to have FC6 up and running on my new machine. I tried ubuntu which installed fine but feel more at home with fedora so any help would be great!!

Hey,

From what others have said to people having the same problem, it appears the frequency of your monitor is different than what Fedora is telling it what it is. Hopefully you have a manual telling you what they are. As far as changing them, you have to use Sax2 (I think). There are other threads with this same problem and their solutions. Try looking them up.

Regards,

Brandon
