Extremely slow to move files to trash and/or delete files permanently...

I tried to search for this but couldn't get anything solid.

Moving files to the trash takes a very long time, about 10 minutes for a few GB and a lot longer than normal for small files, since I've begun using KDE.

Once it is in the trash it takes another long amount of time to delete them out of there. I've read this shouldn't be the case. I don't have a size limit on my trash and my computer is relatively new.

Its been this way when I tried kubuntu 9.10 and openSUSE 11.2

completely disregard this as I've fixed it. I thought I took the size limit off my trash but apparently I did not.

Plus - not using the trash and just deleting in the first place seems to work well too.
