Hello guys.
I have a system with these lines in /var/log/messages:
Code:
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: EXT3 FS on dm-4, internal journal
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
Jan 29 15:49:10 SYS1 kernel: EXT3 FS on dm-3, internal journal
Now i know these messages are normal, as they are related to file systems being mounted, and in which manner.
But the log files are full with them, and not just on a reboot.
Any thoughts on why they would appear, not after a reboot, but on a system that has a pretty high uptime?
Thanks a lot!
