error when install netbeans


When i try to install netbeans, it comes out the below error.

A suitable JVM could not be found. Please run the program again using the option -is:javahome <JAVA HOME DIR>

Can i know why and what should i do now?

Anyone knows please help, thank you......

JVM stands for Java Virtual Machine.

Have you installed the java VM?

Download it from "SUN".

http://java.com/en/download/

I juz export the PATH, now the problem is solve.
