Hi,

I have a computer with windows 7 and recently installed a partition of Fedora and then CentOs. The Fedora installation was fine but then when I tried to install CentOs I think I may have made a few errors. Now when I try to boot up the computer I come to:

error: unknown filesystem
Entering rescue mode
grub rescue>

After doing some digging around I downloaded super grub disk and ran it. I did the detect all operating systems option and it found two "Windows Vista" accounts. I loaded the first one and my Windows 7 is now back and everything is intact. I'm guessing my grub bootloader or something happened. Anyways, any info will be very helpful. I'm almost brand new to linux so with any solutions please be very very basic.

0) Read and familiarize yourself with the (installation) documentation before you do something.
1) Make a backup of your disk, partitions or valuable data plus your boot sector and partition table.
2) If unsure ask before you do something.
