I am running an Asus Eee PC 4G laptop, with the default Xandros as my OS. I bought an External DVD drive so I can watch DVDs on this PC while traveling. I plugged it in and I can hear it load but then it stops. I wait and wait and wait. So, I went to where it's mounted (/home/user/) and only there is a picture with a broken link and below it it says Storage Media. So I click on that and it Says: 'You do not have permission to run Storage Media'. So now I run file manager as super user and it says the same thing! I have installed libdvdcss and libdvdcss2. What could be wrong?

Simple question? Did you reboot with the external drive connected?

Yup. Rebooting does the same thing.

What groups do you belong to as the user? You should be in the; users floppy audio video cdrom plugdev groups.
