dvd has no URL assigned, so I can't play dvd's(no url assigned is the error message)

Hi! I've just installed fedora 12 on an HP a1700n.My first time installation.Most seem fine but There's a error message (no url assigned)This is for dvd.I need to know how to do this. Also just install rpmfusion.Is there any other url's I will need to assign as in dvd burning,light scribe ect.

Does dvd-rom appear in /dev folder?

Not sure what dev folder means,it shows up in m-player,brasero and under places drop down.
the error reads(no url handler implimented"dvd").

What are you trying to achive? Reading files? try installing some other filemanager that will hopefully show dvd like that apps. But it's hal and fstab that is probably badly configured.
