Dual Boot Option

Had a problem booting back to winXP I had a dual boot between Mandrake 10 official and today something went wrong...Wouldn't boot anywhere and after I got into windows recovery, I had to remove the dual boot option..Windows is fine, but how do I get the dual boot back? Do I have to re-install Mandrake?? Thanks

A little more information would help, how's the setup? is it on one hard drive with seperate partitions? or is XP on one hard drive and Mandrake on another? if they are on seperate hard drives which is master and slave and what boot loader were you using before this happened?

They are both on the same drive...hda1 winXP ...hda2 Mandrake linux
Grub was the boot loader....it had been working great for months, and all I did was re-boot and got this mess on the screen about IRQ 10, 11, 12, 13, ..and then about 20 lines of the number 99 99 99 99 have no idea what it was all about...

Sounds like it could be a hardware problem, I'm not too sure, but IRQ is Interupt Request which is used by hardware to signal the CPU when it needs to be used.
The common IRQ assignments for the numbers you posted are

10 - Depends on what you have in that slot
11 - SCSI
12 - Motherboard mouse
13 - Math Coprocessor
14 - IDE Hard drive

On XP you can check the IRQ assignments in the Device Manager.

I'm not sure about the 20 lines of 99
