I ve come to realize that the best things onthe web arent the most advertized e.g. Opera, so i decided to try and dual boot linux to see if i would make the switch but i dont have a cd drive, i was wondering if there is a way to do an unattended setup off the files in the harddrive similar to the Uwin installer for an unattended setup of windows
im im not looking to install opera as i am using it to write this post i would like to know if there is an unattended intallation of a linux distro (Ubuntu)so ican try it out and figuer if i will make the switch similar to what i did after using opera

I didn't read through it, but this was the first hit on Google..
An Optical drive of some sort makes it much easier(plus you can test it with your hardware before installing, to make sure everything works). What type of PC is this that has no optical drives? A Good CDR isn't very expensive, and you can almost be brain dead and install one.

Second that---A PC is pretty limited without at least a CD reader, but a basic read/write unit is almost as cheap.
