disable lilo(grub)


I have a computer only with linux. but always when I start my computer the lilo(grub) starts. how can I disable lilo

It has to start so it can boot your operating system, Windows has a bootloader too, it's called NTLDR but you just don't see it. Also, Lilo and grub are two very different loaders. Find out which one you actually have and we can tell you how to set the timeout value to zero and mayour boot appear transparent. That's what I've done.

open a grub config edit the timeout.
