Difference between "frugal" and "full" installations of Puppy?

I still don't understand the difference between:
1. copying the files from the cd to the hd (frugal)
2. installing the files on the cd to the hd (full)

LOL

frugal install stays in the compressed pup.sfs
hd install is that .sfs uncompressed

Like, Ubuntu is a hd install
folders boot, usr, home, etc, are in thep artition

with frugal, if you break something, etc
you just delete pup save and start over

hd install, you break, it's broke

frugal boots into RAM, uses more ram, but is quick

hd doesn't boot into ram, uses less ram, is a litttle slower(off usb)
as changes must be written back to hd/usb alot

frugal only writes to usb at reboot/shutdown

frugal is better for health of usb
