i am a noob at linux, so I don't know much about the terminal but I's sure I can follow instructions, i installed deepin os on my hp laptop, but wireless network not showing in setting area so i can't connect to Internet please help.
What wireless chip does the machine have? Do you have firmware support for it? If not then get firmware working for it. Find out what it needs and if there is kernel support for it.
If so then what network manager does deepin use? Have you configures it? Most wireless use WPA, have you configured it with the wireless password etc?
Run the command lspci. That should report what wireless chipset is installed in that machine. You may have to run the command as root.
Post the relevant output here, being sure to surround any terminal output with "code" tags which become available when you click the "Go Advanced" button beneath the compose post window.
