Smile Copying a file from Desktop to Hadoop File System HDFS


Hello, I am trying to copy a file from my Desktop to Hadoop File System.

Code:
[root@localhost ~]# hdfs dfs -copyFromLocal 1987.csv /user/root
The terminal returns this output below. I trying to troubleshoot this error but I would appreciate help on this.

The first line in the link you posted:

That seems pretty clear...what do you need help with?

I fixed this, my internet configuration was not specified when installing centos 7. I just did a new install and got it working.
