configure vsftpd - ftp

Hey all,

I Have configured my vsftpd server, everything works fine, when i copy files from mounted cdrom into my /var/ftp/pub folder, anonymous users cannot view the content of the folder. if i create file or copy file from a different location into that folder it is visible .. what kind of permissions, configurations, should i change to make the content of /var/ftp/pub folder visible for my anonymous users??
