Completely New

Hello recently installed rh9 on my Dell inspiron 5100. Mostly everything went ok. But i cant get my Wireless card to work. I have a netgear ma521. I downloaded the drivers from realtek per another post that i read. But its giving me a Mismatched kernel error. Im completely new to Linux and would appreciate some help or a recommendation on what Wireless card works well in Linux. Any info would be appreciated thanks. Kyle

the mismatch is likely due to the driver being compiled for a different kernel than you have.

there is a tutorial on how to get 802.11 cards to work on the guide link below, feel free to check it out and if you have any further questions, i am at the forum link below almost 24/7

Yeah it says i have a .6 kernel and the driver was written for a .8 kernel? i figure i just update the kernel and all should work well. But im not sure how to do it without internet. I guess if worse comes to worse i can plug it in to my landline. But im still nto sure how to update ? So i dunno!
