Command gpasswd on OpenSUSE to delete user from group.

Hi,

On CentOS we can delete a user from a group by command:

Code:
gpasswd -d [user] [group]
But the gpasswd on OpenSUSE has command gpasswd but no such option to delete a user from a group.

I am aware, this can be done by modifying /etc/groups and by checking the user with ID command and using usermod to add the user again without the group to be removed.

But I need a single command to perform the task. Is anyone aware of it ?

In a terminal window, run "apropos group | grep user" without quotes. That will show you all command line tools relating to group and user. Search for the one that removes user from group.

In OpenSuSE go to YasT and select users and group select the user you want to remove and choose delete.

Good luck to you.
