Question codec installation problem in fedora 8


i have successfully installed fluendo mp3 decoder in fedora 8 as a root,and it is working in the root...i have installed it in the way it was written in text document so that it may be installed for all users ,but in the normal user account movie player is again not working and asking for fluendo mp3 decoder.so i tried it for only one user in the same way as it was written but it is not installed .plz neone tell how to solve this problem.

I have never used the fluendo codecs, but I found the livna codecs worked fine:
