proton LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2016 Posts: 1 Rep:	This issue should not be marked ´solved´ I have exactly the same error as the OP... I´m using Xubuntu 15.10 with Claws Mail 3.12.0-1ubuntu1 and ufw firewall disabled. When configuring an IMAP-address it´s unable to auto-configure (failed) and when manually setting all entries receiving email works, but sending fails. Duplicated these settings in Thunderbird, and automatic IMAP-configuration works flawlessly, both sending and receiving... Beats me...
