Chromium browser and Facebook issue

My Chromium browser, when using facebook, no longer notifies me, with a pop up chat, when someone sends me a message - ???

"Chrome" and "Firefox" still work fine. But I prefer Chroumin.

Anyone else notice this ???

No, I don't use Messenger on the computer or my mobile phone.

Chromium continues to do odd things. Now, when attempting to watch a youtube video, I often get an error message.

These problems with facebook and youtube don't occur on "Chrome" or "Firefox" browsers - just "Chromium."

Why do you "prefer" Chromium then?

Well, I've been using Chromium for some time. A lot of my passwords and such are saved inside it, so I don't have to go digging for them.
Also, I am under the assumption that Chromium is coded a lot by Linux users.

I just started using Chrome again, and realized one of the things I dislike the most, is that I have to type in a password at the beginning of the session.
